I changed some settings but it never saves them when I quit the program. I know you can change stuff in the .ini file, but the things that I change aren't in the .ini file. I've changed things like cubic distortion, rounded corner, reflection amount, and defocus x/defocus y, but these aren't listed in the available things to change. I looked in the MAME folders and in the hlsl folder, all those things are there, but they don't show up in the .ini file.

Any ideas ?

Think about this. Once bread becomes toast, you can't make it back into bread.

If you’re talking about the adjustments for BGFX shaders, they aren’t saved now, the technical reason being that doing so without making circular dependencies worse requires a round of refactoring I’m not ready to do just yet.

You can permanently change them by finding the JSON file for the screen chain and editing the default values.

Easy way. Open the Notepad and then open the file. Change settings and then save. Be sure make back up of the file first. smile
