Well, it's been days and I've delayed because I was busy with other things, but I installed macports and the clang-13 port and mame does build again. I'll do a clean build and finally get binaries up ASAP. I'll be honest, I've always disliked macports but brew doesn't offer any compilation related software (I assume it's part of their "philosophy"). I learned that macports is based upon the FreeBSD ports tree, and in the last year, I've a new love for FBSD personally. So I think I'll switch over to using macports for all my local software use. The ports system is my favorite thing about FBSD, so I hope I feel it's done justice on macos.
