I asked Pete for those dumps years ago and he said he'd lost them.
Is it possible to add the Commodore MAX section as well?

And talking about the handhelds - what's about Mega Duck/Cougar Boy? http://www.museo8bits.com/wiki/index.php?title=Mega_Duck lists at least 11 undumped games at the bottom (from Super Cobra to Wise Act).

I don't know what's undumped for Commodore MAX as I'm not keeping track of that system. I think everything is already dumped and available somewhere on the web though.

All those are unreleased/vaporware titles, all Mega Duck games are already dumped.

About the Gamate releases, I suspect they are the same, but never confirmed it. Might be a good thing to ask Peter or Morten and see if they might have a way to check that.

These were dumped at some point, but, as Curt Coder says (I've quoted him above), the only owner of these roms has lost them. So it would be a good idea to list the missing ones as undumped, so someone could at least inform the cart owners the dumps from their carts are needed for preservation.

I have several versions of the same Gamate games. In total I have 52 unique games, but more than 150 cartridges (mostly due to the fact that I often had to buy bundles to get a missing game) some are in Italian, Spanish, German, UK and Asian packaging.

Some like Mars Voyager Italian vs Asian release have entirely different artwork.

I have dumped every single game cartridge I own, and it appears that each unique game share the same SHA-1 sum, hence I am quite sure there never was any regional differences.

So I think its pretty safe to assume that the Gamate games are identical regardless of territorial region.

Cheers, Peter

However, Pyuuta, Gamate, Watara Supervision and some other lists in the "Needed Games To Be Dumped" section contain the unreleased and questionable games, why not to list these ones? smile

I've checked the current softlist for Commodore VIC-10/MAX/UltiMAX:

avenger.zip -- Avenger (versionless)
avengera.zip -- Avenger (V.02)
basic.zip -- MAX Basic
bowling.zip -- Bowling
clowns.zip - Clowns (V.02)
clownsa.zip - Clowns (V.01)
jlander.zip -- Jupiter Lander (with the title screen)
kickman.zip -- Kickman (versionless)
lemans.zip -- Le Mans
minibas.zip -- Mini-Basic
moleattk.zip -- Mole Attack (V.01)
moneywar.zip -- Money Wars (V.01)
musicm.zip -- Music Machine
musicmak.zip -- Music Maker ~ Music Composer
omegrace.zip -- Omega Race (V02)
pinspec.zip -- Pinball ~ Spectacular
radarrr.zip -- Radar Rat Race (V.02, Green Text)
radarrr1.zip -- Radar Rat Race (V.02, White Text, earlier)
radarrr2.zip -- Radar Rat Race (V.02, White Text, earlier, bad dump?)
roadrace.zip -- Road Race (V.02)
seawolf.zip -- Sea Wolf
solarsys.zip -- Visible Solar System
spedmath.zip -- Speed/Bingo Math
supalien.zip -- Super Alien (V.01)
wow.zip -- Wizard of Wor (V02)
wowa.zip -- Wizard of Wor (versionless)

Missing dumps:

Avenger (V.01)
Billiards (Version 01)
Billiards (Version 02)
Gorf
Jupiter Lander (without the title screen)
Kickman (V02)
Omega Race (black backgrounds)
Poker
Radar Rat Race (V.02, White Text, newer)
Road Race (V.01)
Slalom

radarrr2 vs radarrr1 - 1-byte difference, this byte is the same for radarrr vs radarrr1, so the radarrr2 seems to be a bad dump.

Poker (ポーカー) seems to be undumped (if exists at all) and is only listed on http://game-nostalgia.net/max/max.html (and no cover there) and https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%8...2%B9%E3%83%9E%E3%82%B7%E3%83%BC%E3%83%B3

Also, it would be nice to see the Amstrad GX4000 section with the infamous Holy Grail "Special Criminal Investigation" cart listed, Texas Instruments TI99/4A section with the "Killer Caterpillar" cart and the NEC PC Engine section with the "Game Express CD Card (Green Label)" listed (currently, only the Blue Label card is dumped, it's a more recent version, Green Label card has a simple menu with no beach-themed pictures).

Add special priority mode for the x68000. Fixes the layer bugs in Final Fight.

As I collated the original vic10/ultimax softlist, I thought I had better update the Vic10 xml as per recent posts from F1ReB4LL on this thread.

Whoever is looking after the softlists can get it here:-

I think it's better to make it similar to vic1001_cart.xml:

- Jelly Monster v.2 is "jellym2" and Jelly Monster v.1 is "jellym1" cloneof="jellym2", so the vic10/max "Clowns" and others could be named the same way; the ones with the only version known should be versionless (Mole Attack, Money Wars, Super Alien)

- for the suspicious alt dumps (one of the vic10/max radar rat race dumps is more than suspicious) there is a "<!-- File Difference -->" section with the difference description: "<!-- 0x0094 : 0xad ('fltsim') - 0x8d ('fltsima') -->"

For the undumped list, it's better name 2 of the missings this way: "Jupiter Lander (Earlier version, no title screen)" and "Omega Race (Newer version, black background)". And you've forgot to add another Radar Rat Race into the missing list (however, I guess it should be more or less safe to simply hack one of the avalable dumps the way it's described on c64preservation.com to get the missing one).

And the versions in the list above were taken directly from the title screens, so it's not "Kickman (v.02)", but "Kickman (V02)" smile

Miso Kim uploaded some videos about some games (SAMSUNG SPC-1500) which should work on MAME?
Has anyone, except Miso Kim, ever checked?
Has anyone, except Miso Kim, a functioning software?
