That's the biggest pic I have right now- I trimmed that 2842x2153 pixel pic from the full die shot. I can shoot just the ROM array at 20x if you need it.

I just uploaded the same size top metal shot, if that will help: www.seanriddle.com/0952_metal_rom.jpg

Cool!

I added 2 more PIC165xA games; Tandy Basketball and Tiger Rocket Pinball. http://www.seanriddle.com/pic1650a.html

I didn't realize Kevin had dumped Melody Madness. Anyone have the CRC so I can compare my dump? Thanks.

Lord Nightmare: new comment on my EVA video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DwKqCZlKnw

This might be another EVA VSM, asked the dude for higher resolution capture of the 6125. Notice TSP5110A smile The board has a different layout than my own EVA11, thats for sure.

I don't think kevtris uploaded Melody Madness yet, i'll poke him on the chat.

TMS0950 is added, as well as the 0952 calculator. The output works the same way as TMS0980, the rest of the die looks to me exactly like TMS1000. But, emulating it like a TMS1000 doesn't work. The ROM should be ok. Maybe they changed something with the opcodes or microinstructions.

Very interesting re:0952. I didn't really look too closely; I just compared the ROM bits to the 0972 to see that they were different. I'll take a look and see if anything jumps out at me.

plgDavid: maybe send the EVA MCU to sean? do the eva11 and eva24 use the same MCU?

We could whip up a driver for it...

And yeah the oldsmobile voice diagnostic system is the same tech, I wonder if chrysler sold the tech to GM for the oldsmobile, or if both chrysler and oldsmobile/GM licensed the same tech from someone else (possibly TI themselves!)

Here are the opcodes and microinstructions that I decoded from the 0952 PLA. I'm a little rusty, but it looks like 4 non-standard opcodes.

Yup, done that too smile here, compared vs 0972:
http://pastebin.com/dd6rEUM3

*edit* hmm hmm, you have CKM on $20 and i have nothing(NOP), the opcode _is_ used, maybe I have an error in the microinstruction PLA..

*edit2* yup, and now it works

Cool! I just noticed that some of the opcodes are different for some instructions. For instance, 21 on 0952 is TYA, but that's TMA on the TMS-1000. I see 7 of those, along with the 4 non-standard opcodes.
