Ok, the Loderunner.tap file seems to work. Unfortunately, this is the only file which I found for this system.

1.) Choose language > English (Tab menu/DIP Switches)
2.) Mount the Loderunner.tap (not the SPC-1000 version) file
3.) Select R to load/start the SPC-1500 SAMSUNG BASIC ROM
4.) Type: LOAD
5.) Push Play (Tape Control)

Well, that link's dead already because Sendspace sucks. If you want to submit something to be added to MAME, don't just post it here, follow our posted submission process and e-mail it to the address at http://wiki.mamedev.org/index.php?title=Submitting_Source_Code where it will be seen by the whole team.

Any other platorms that were supported by Windows 95? These are the only ones I know of.

Maybe we can get them to run Linux now? (I think the FM Towns only needs work on the SCSI controller for it to work...) smile

I added emulation of several Chess Computers by Fidelity. With help from Berger and Micha. Here's a lazy screenshot of the V11 where CPU queen takes my sad knight: http://imgur.com/T8mHu3v

info: http://www.schach-computer.info/wiki/index.php/Fidelity_Elite_V11_68060

We'll eventually have to abstract a new input device for board games. I guess these are playable if you use a touchscreen, eg. tablet. You'd still need chess pieces of course.

Indeed, a lot of the stuff you guys have been working on will need support for game pieces. In many cases simply supporting drag & drop of game parts would be enough (this one seems to be one of those), but for others it can get much more complex.

Perhaps one day we can fully enjoy playing Dark Tower on MAME smile

DIdn't we used to have actual working pieces for the chess computers back before the merger?

still do, see machine/mboard.cpp. I don't want to add that to the Fidelity drivers though, it's too much of a hack for my taste.

Mr. Postman here. Concerning the Gamate:
I'm currently mailing off Volcano Panic to JFMateos to be dumped, my entire gamate collection is in storage but plan on getting to them soon as I can fill many of the undumped slots. Not entirely comfortable mailing off all my rares across seas, in case anybody can sell me or loan me a dumper when the time comes. I would love all the games to be public for the world to finally enjoy.

More on topic. I do have many Gamate ROMs, both direct dumps and modified to work with EMU, but they don't work in Mess for me. Do they not run in the public Mess releases or is there something wrong with my binaries? A pleasure to meet everyone, please have a lovely day.

-Melody
