I probably will soon. I have 1 1/2 panels left to do, then I'll do the color separation. After that I'm still a little clueless, especially with grouping the elements together. But I can certainly see why no one wanted to tackle this one, it's such a pain. Just working in my spare time, but I should have it done this weekend.

1 correction in Gradius ROM:
raw rom offset $0cd9 change $3d to $7d

I don't know if there's more, I didn't find any. The game boots but the score digits don't display properly, could you check those segments object title 'coordinates'? The rest of the game works fine.
temp artwork is here: http://tsk-tsk.net/net/temp/kgradius.zip

I fixed the bit, thanks. I looked again and did not find any more.

I just verified this:

And I checked the segments in the SVG and they look like I assigned them correctly. I did number the digits from right to left, like the others.

Thanks for checking, we can assume it's an MCU bug then. The temp link to artwork was updated with added background, good for public 1st version.

It's weird that they named it Nemesis in Japan. Normally it's the other way around: home ports of Gradius named Gradius in Japan, and Nemesis in Europe. Playability-wise, I like this game. Contra and TMNT handhelds are rubbish compared to it (and Topgun is alright but too easy).

Konami's adopted the Western name before for franchises which were more popular in the West; a couple of Castlevania games were called "Castlevania" in Japan. They did return to "Demon Castle Dracula" for later installments though.

Sean is the serial number on the die the same between TMNT/Contra/Gradius? Not KMS73B, but the number 774.
Also, what is the PCB label for Gradius? BH-0something.

The SM511 chips all have "KMS73B" in metal over "KMS###" - I think ### is the ROM ID. Top Gun is SM510 and has "CMS54C" over "KMS598".

Contra BH002 773
Top Gun BH003 598
Gradius BH004 771
TMNT BH005 774
Lone Ranger BH009 781
Blades of Steel BH011 782
Star Trek 25 BH015 (I haven't de-globbed it yet)

That has an NEC uPD553C-296 in it, for the list...
