Sears Electronic Basketball has a 28-pin IC from GI labeled 69-11557. The PCB traces match a PIC16C55, and I was able to dump its ROM with my rig. I compared the dump to Tandy Electronic Basketball (PIC1655-051) and they are nearly identical; only 19 bytes are different.

Along with these 2 games, and the 4 games and 2 devices listed in the skeleton driver hh_pic16, I've got 5 more PIC1655/1650 games dumped:
1650-133 Tandy Baseball
1655A-053 Atari Touch Me
1655-024 generic Mattel Football clone
1655A-033 Toytronic Football (3rd pic)
1650A-144 Tandy 2-Player Football

Kevtris also has a couple of them dumped, including Melody Madness(a Tafoid-most-wanted), and Le Bomb(a kevtris-most-wanted)
IIRC the PIC core needs some/howmuch? work before I can add games.*

Of the COP400 handheld driver games, maybe half of them work well. It's not as bad as PIC but yeah, CPU core emulation still needs improvement.

*: I think it's obvious but let me say anyway I don't claim monopoly on handheld emulation. Anyone is free to emulate new dumps. It would especially be cool to get more work done on MCU cores. Not just PIC or COP400, but new ones too eg. the Rockwell one for the old Mattel handhelds.

seanriddle: would you be interested in dumping the two Chrysler EVAs I have? (only dumped the VSMs) Would be a cool MAME driver.

plgDavid: sure thing. From a quick look at your scans, it's possible that the '11 has a TMS1100 and the '24 has a COP4. If that's the case, they might both be electronically dumpable. But the TMS1100 could be a revision that we can't get all the bits and output OPLA out of, or it might even be a variant that we don't know how to dump electronically (the 09x0s).

Do you know what the two 20-pin chips are on the '11?

I assume they were standard parts so I didn't look really.
SHould I just send you the two pcbs, or unsolder the MCUs?

Either way- I've got a fairly decent desoldering station, but it'd probably be a little cheaper to just send the chips.

The 20-pin chips are just labeled "0951" and the 8-pin in the corner just has "0955". I'm guessing that one's an amplifier, but I don't know those numbers and couldn't find anything with a quick search.

Yeah hap its cool to have the TSI Speech+ running. Its one of my favorite things to keep around. Always impresses visitors

I bid on an ebay auction for "VINTAGE NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR FILM PHOTO ETCHES". It looks like they are just overhead transparencies for a class, but they are still pretty cool. They are marked DM7880C, so I looked up the datasheet, and that's a 7-segment decoder driver, like the 7447, but with the segments stored in ROM instead of generated by logic gates.

Some of the layers are obvious, but I'm not sure what some of them are. I was hoping I had a chip here to decap and take pics of, but I couldn't find one.
