Noticed this on the official forum (the one that nobody looks at):

Is anyone interested?

The X68K MIDI boards use the YM3802 MIDI UART, which we don't currently support, but it appears that's pretty much *all* they use. Does anyone know off hand what address range the 3802's supposed to appear at? Because Akumajou Dracula supports the MT-32, and I happen to have a real hardware MT-32 in good working order smile

Answering my own question: *0xeafa01-0xeafa0f or 0xeafa11-0xeafa1f and IRQ 2 or *4 depending on DIP switches, * is default.

Is ym3802 also used on the sfg-01 and sfg-05 msx yamaha boxes?

SFG-05 uses a YM2148, which appears to be both a UART and a keyboard scanner from the schematics. I can't find any datasheet on it, so I don't know how similar the UART section is to the 3802.

No one's come across any so far as I know. Best we can do is scene docs and other emulators' sourcecode for now, barring some sort of HW test.
