Hi AJR,

I've been reading the upd7810 datasheet and yes, you're right, the NMI shouldn't get stopped by the iff (interrupt enable flip flop).

I did come across this while trying to understand the interrupt flags:

It looks like the INTOV flag is kept in the IRR but it gets set in the ITF.

Code
grep INTOV src/devices/cpu/upd7810/ -r
src/devices/cpu/upd7810/upd7810_opcodes.cpp:	if (IRR & INTOV)
src/devices/cpu/upd7810/upd7810_opcodes.cpp:	IRR &= ~INTOV;
src/devices/cpu/upd7810/upd7810_opcodes.cpp:	if (0 == (IRR & INTOV))
src/devices/cpu/upd7810/upd7810_opcodes.cpp:	IRR &= ~INTOV;
src/devices/cpu/upd7810/upd7810.h:		INTOV   = 0x1000,
src/devices/cpu/upd7810/upd7810.cpp: ITF |= INTOV; /* set overflow flag if counter wrapped */

We now have Apple IIe RGB card support, which adds a handful of interesting video enhancements that had surprising amounts of software support. See more here: https://rbelmont.mameworld.info/?p=1389

The HAL Labs Gizmo discussed several pages back on this thread is now in Github. Works great with Vindicator and Super Taxman 2, as advertised.

OG's updating the SC-01 got me to add it to our Mockingboard emulation, upgrading it to "Sound/Speech I".

Unfortunately most software that used speech on the Mockingboard assumes the later SC-02/SSI-263 version, but Total Replay does detect it as a talker smile

See (and hear!) a demo:

Hi, I'm new to this forum but fond of Mame since the very first versions - I was young then... and owned a real Apple ][ - I was even younger then smile

Recently I used Mame for Apple emulation and used a couple of games which make Mame crash. How may I report those problems?

Thank you!

Yeah, it shouldn't be possible to crash MAME itself. Point us to the specific disk image and let us know what version of MAME you're using and on what OS.

The host OS is Windows 10. Mame version was 0.222 and it still crashes with the 0.223. Games are Lode Runner (1983) - at the end of level 32 / I have a 0.223 savegame - with a Apple 2e config and Zany Golf (1988) - I have a 0.222 savegame - on a 2gs config.

Odd. I've finished Zany Golf on MAME. Can you post the savegames?
