Jeff Parsons took the visual ROM dump I made from the siliconpr0n TMC1501 dieshot and (after I found 2 bad bits and he found 2 bad bits) wrote an emulator for the TI-57 calculator: https://www.pcjs.org/blog/2017/11/05/

While we were emailing back and forth, I noticed that the chip package shown at Datamath.org has the label TMC1501D-NL, compared to TMC1501NL on his calculator and mine. I'm wondering if that D indicates a ROM revision.

I picked up a Jeppesen Sanderson avstar Flight Calculator made by TI, but it has a TP0320.

Here's a very recent game that would be interesting to see if it could be emulated:
http://superimpulse.com/our-brands/tiny-arcade-2/

These are really tiny versions of arcade games, that use full-color pixel LCD screens. There's only four, and they all use the same board and ROM (there's jumpers on the board that determine the game played).
Someone has managed to dump the ROM already, as it's a separate chip on the circuit board, but we aren't sure what the processor is (under a glob)...

Here's a .zip file containing the ROM and a picture of the board and datasheet for the EEPROM:
www.handheldmuseum.com/Z_Imgs/MESS/TinyArcade.zip

Any thoughts as to what the processor might be? We have a spare board (the one he dumped the ROM from) if you want to attempt to de-glob it...

The code doesn't look like any processor I know, but the sounds / music are all WAV files with all the ID tags filled out. One of them is "Galaxian 1979 Namco Mame Retro Arcade Games", meaning they apparently sampled MAME.

They are actually YouTube videos. you can find the exact title of each of them on YouTube, usually just a play through of the game.

I'd swear the intermissions on Pac-Man look like compressed video too, like they just used low res MPGs instead of coding them...

Work is tapering off so I was able to do some more on my backlog of Tiger LCD games and some boards that Klaus sent me. I also tried to electronically dump the TMS1100NLL MP1185 MBSL 7938 from Fonas 3-in-1 (Football/Basketball/Soccer), but haven't had any luck for some reason. I picked up a cheap Vulcan XL25, which has a TMS1000SLC PC 8314 MP4486A PHILIPPINES. The game uses 4 AAs and there is no power converter circuit, so I'm guessing the TMS1000 is CMOS. And I finally completed the Funtronics set with a cheap Tag. I decapped the TMS1500s from the MBA and TI-55 calculators to send to Jeff for his emulator, but toasted the MBA's die.

A fellow asked me if I could get a pic of the 68000 microcode ROM. I had decapped a Signetics 68000 a while back but hadn't taken any pics. I couldn't see the ROM bits on the top metal die shot, but they were obvious when I removed it:

The TMS1000C is documented in the same pdf as TMS1400. It mentions that it has a 3-level stack and has an external HALT pin, but is otherwise same as PMOS TMS1000 from software point of view.
Could you decap this one? (I mean, whether or not you're able to dump it electronically)

I tried to dump it electronically at 5V but didn't get anything. So I looked at the traces on the PCB, and they don't match the PMOS version. Luckily that thread from classiccmp about Dark Tower has pinouts for 1000C, and they appear to match. They removed R10 for the HALT input, so I assume R9 is the sync output. I'll try again with the new hookup, and I'll see if I can figure out what pins to use for Invader 2000. I will definitely decap both after dumping them electronically (or giving up!)

I suspect OG is the "fellow". Having the schematics isn't enough, you'd still need the microcode ROM to run an emulation.

I don't know. I did a quick google before replying to him and sent him some links (that he already knew about), but he thought that the microcode ROM hadn't been dumped completely yet. After I sent him the file, he mentioned OG's dump, and then later said that there were 11 diffs (probably all my errors; I haven't compared the files yet). He did question the size of my file; I guess some sources said that the nanoROM was 366x68 bits, but the visual dumps were smaller than that. It turns out that 366 was a typo for 336, and the visual dumps are the correct size.
