If it's the game or my pc all my other games are running 60fps, I'm getting 45-50fps what should I be getting?

Any speed tips? Is there no way to deinterlace the game screen, maybe that would help, the game doesn't look any better than SFEX2 I can't see why it should be slower, must be the namco sys issue?

FL is System 12, so it's going to be the same speed as those games (Ehrgeiz, Tekken 3, etc). I easily get well over 60/60 in it.

I get around 45-50FPS in System 12 games too like Fighting Layer and Tekken 3.

Probably my CPU which is underpowered (AMD Athlon XP 2000+).

What are your exact settings? I tried running everything on the lowest but surely that must have adverse effects? Ehrgeiz runs like a bomb on my setup, could it be the interlace monitor thing?

Thanks

Fighting layer looks like a really cool game btw Arika doing something independent of Street Fighter and it's really nice, the character designs are very inspired, I like it quite a lot not quite the Bloody Roar series though.

Pity this game never got a home release or any fanbase support I can see alot of potential.

The major thing I'm doing that makes the games go fast is I have a fast PC - P4 "Northwood" at 3.1 GHz, 1 GB RAM, GeForce 6800GT video.

And yeah, FL does look pretty original, which is always nice to see in that genre.

I'm guessing you can't turn sound off on Fighting Layer? That usually speeds games up significantly on my PC...and I have a 1.6GHz so sometimes I have to do without sound if I really want to play these games!

System 12 games (refer to http://www.system16.com/namco/ ) cannot run without the sound CPU.
