Here's a list of the Tiger handheld games that I've been sent so far: http://www.seanriddle.com/tiger.txt I'm getting another box tomorrow.

I asked the fellow sending them to send the ones shaped like this first: http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Tiger/Batman.htm I haven't received all those yet, and he's got lots of other Tiger games as well.

I've got a PCB made up that matches the LCD panel connectors on these games (and the Konami games shaped like this: http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Konami/AdvBB.htm), and a couple of other PCBs that match some of the G&W LCDs and some of the R-Zone LCDs. If a panel has a different connector pattern, then I can't currently drive the segments to get pics.

Several of the games he has sent have different LCD panel connectors; many of the sports games have more than 132 segments, and some have a different connector pitch. There are also a few with a Holtek speech chip that I can't find any info about.

Here are some other LCD games I've got:

ColorVision has an OKI MSM6502 (not a 6502)
Thief In Garden has 60QFP labeled TRONICA 0019 238E (likely SM510)
Lansay Football has an unknown 60QFP labeled Gakken 6814 3E (not SM5xx)
Acclaim 1943 has a glob (not SM5xx)
MGA Super Auto Racing has a glob (not SM5xx)

Tandy Holdup has a 60QFP labeled Hitachi 43380
Radio Shack Volcano
Radio Shack Highway
Tandy Highway
Tandy Pirate has a glob 3C5800 (same MCU as old RSA SecurID!)

Mattel Speed Freak has a 60QFP Toshiba T6817S
Mattel Dungeons and Dragons
Mattel Armor Attack

Orlitronic Lucky Luke SMC1112

Tiger Afterburner tabletop has a Sharp SM5xx (probably 512) with speech chip
Konami Star Trek (TNG) has a glob likely SM510

It was a ColorVision PCB and a Submarine cart. The pics at Handheld Museum show an identical PCB, but the cart in his pic has the connector fingers on the wide edge, whereas the one Incog sent me has the connector on the narrow edge. The cart just has an LCD panel, so all the games are programmed into the chip on the PCB and some fingers on the connector tell the MCU which cart is inserted. The MCU was an OKI MSM6502 (not the same as a 6502) and I could not see the bits. From the pics Incog linked, Soccer doesn't look like it uses the same MCU as Submarine, but it's definitely not an SM5.

I wrote a program to view the LCD SVGs one segment at a time, sorted by the connectors used to drive the segments. That way, I could compare the SVG segments to the actual LCD segments and try to avoid the problem I had with Gauntlet. I ran it on the last dozen LCD SVGs and didn't find any segments mis-assigned. But I did find some problems; 4 SVGs had one segment grouped with another. My program that fills in the object titles from the descriptions that I enter checks for various errors, but not that. I'm not sure what happens with one of these segments in the game; probably it turns on at the correct time, but also when the segment that it was accidentally grouped with turns on.

Also Batman's leg in Batman Forever was out of place. So I updated these 4 SVGs:
tbatfor.svg
tkarnov.svg
tbtoads.svg
tjdredd.svg

I've added a check to my mapping program for future LCDs, and I'll go back and check older games to see if any of those need fixing.

Could you tell me the exact changes, or update the ones over here?: http://tsk-tsk.net/net/svg/
I've done small tweaks/fixes to some of them. And I added a white background(needed for MAME) and aligned them to match the background inlay.

Hmmm, your tjdredd.svg was OK, but the other 3 had nested segments, and Batman's leg was out of place. I updated those 3 SVGs and put them on my site. There are some nested segments in other SVGs; I'll fix those and let you know.

To fix the segments I loaded the SVG into Inkscape, clicked the segment, noted the title and description then cleared them, ungrouped, unselected the nested segment, grouped, then re-entered the title and description and saved. Then I checked the SVG again with my program.

I got the box. It has 24 Tiger "girl" games. I'll update my list later tonight.

Are any of them "Pocahontas"? Hopefully not, so I can send it in when it arrives.
