Another sufficiently odd (tm) machine for future emulation: PANAFACOM Duet-16, circa 1984

I got one yesterday including the harddisk and the complete loot you can see on that picture. This will be a busy weekend smile

Cool smile

May I suggest another sufficiently odd (tm) hardware? Labtam 3000 series (Australian machine) -- http://messui.polygonal-moogle.com/comp/labtam.pdf

z80 + 8086, multibus, optional 68000 &c

Some of these were sold to Soviet Union, maybe some still survive...

Kryoflux disk images + hacked version of samdisk to read them and convert into raw format that MAME can read = profit:

Command prompt does not show up, though.

Neat, that might be the only MSDOS machine that doesn't use MFM floppies.

Regarding the HP 2645A emulation:

Nice! If someone wants to deal with the Intel 8008 based HP 2640A I have put some information including dumps of firmware and chargen PROMs here.

Just a question, does the coleco driver (MAME/MESS) support the digital sounds (voice)?

Is it an add-on chip in the cartridge, or are they toggling the SN76xxx volume really fast? The latter should just work.

Added the Poly Proteus, a dual processor 6809/Z80 machine. It's usually the Disk/Network controller used with the Poly 1 but can be used standalone with a terminal connected. It can run POLYFLEX and CP/M.

Running POLYFLEX. The screen scroll is held, supposed to press a key to continue but doesn't seem compatible with our generic terminal. It's supposed to be used with a Lear Siegler ADM-31 terminal.

POLYFLEX running Adventure!

The Proteus running CP/M. There's WordStar and dBase on there but both fail due to incompatible terminal.

Also made significant progress with the Poly 1 (and some variants) but needs a much improved MC6854 to load software from a Proteus. I'm also requiring info on the ROM of the KR2376-12 keyboard encoder to make the machines usable.

Thanks to Andrew Trotman for technical info and software http://www.cs.otago.ac.nz/homepages/andrew/poly/Poly.htm
