Hello, could you please consider adding QMC2's version numbers on the .exe files (qmc2-mame/qmc2-arcade)? Some updater programs (like SUMo) rely on them to notify about newer versions. Example report - thanks!

Not really sure what/who you mean, but no. Unless... ReiRom ("King ROM") is a Brazilian guy who has a popular football (soccer) blog. He used to use a sort of self-parodying persona "o papa de eumlacion" (the pope of emulation). One of his routines was talking about how he would imminently release EmuAllSystems, an emulator capable of emulating all systems at full speed on a modest host PC. Your name "EmuthemAll" is reminiscent of "EmuAllSystems".

I'm asking because 'The Pope of emulation' in Brazilian Portuguese is translated as 'O papa da emulação''o papa de eumlacion' seems more like a corruption of Spanish phrase (maybe he's from another Latin America country?) Anyway, it seems as a very interesting internet story LOL

Em 1997, época em que a curiosidade dos brasileiros pela emulação começava a crescer, foi criado o canal de irc #emuroms que se tornou o ponto de encontro para brazucas discutirem sobre romhacking, traduções e outras atividades emulisticas.
Foi nesse lugar que surgiu REIROM, o lendário brasileiro dono de todas as roms já criadas (inclusive as roms de Playstation), que queria dominar a #emuroms, ter fama no exterior e criar o emulador supremo: o Emuallsystems.

Not sure about Windows, but the Mac versions of the executables all show the version number.. I wouldn't hold my breath for any fixes. QMC2 hasn't been updated in like 4 or 5 months (were still at v0.196 and thats only if you build from the last SVN updates). Unless some miracle happens, seems like its been abandoned at this point. QMC himself hasn't been here since the last public release either.

The version shows in the Help, About on Windows.
But, I think the OP wants it to show in the program's properties, where you right-click the exe and choose Properties.
The File Version, Product Name, Product Version, Copyright and Language fields are all blank.
