What you think about the idea of adding an option under "Customize UI" to choose what categories of images would appear in the right column under the tab "images"?
I think most of the people have filled only 1 or 2 images folders, so at the end what you see in that column on the right is just a lot of "No image available" icon.
For example I'm using only: Snapshots, Flyers, Titles, Logos and Marquee. I would like to be able to hide the others.

Excuse me, are you referring to the internal UI or to the MAMEUI frontend?

Because the function you're talking about in MAMEUI has been around for at least 10 years.

I'm talking about the internal UI.
I can't use MAMEUI frontend because I'm using SDLMAME on MacOS and (as far as I know) MAMEUI is not available on Mac.

Quite correct - it's windows only.

Customize UI would need enhancement to get what you're after.

If you're good with coding you could make a PR in github; if not, you could make an enhancement request in Mametesters, but I don't know when (or if) it would be actioned.
