Possibly, I haven't played with it much.
It can do add/multiply/alpha. (same blendmodes in the MAME core as before, but now generalized instead of hardcoded in backdrop/overlay/bezel)

I don't feel I've made a great job with this one but I like the game.

There's a new view I'm trying out with this one, it's the same as the in-built dual over-under style called Backgrounds Only. It works but the art doesn't sync up vertically if you look at the columns or walls (as it might be on the real game?) and there's a thin black line where screens are overlapping. Don't know how to fix this but it might be the way I've done it.

Great work! I think it looks really good and the Backgrounds Only is nice, especially for the dual screen games where the game case occupies so much screen estate.

I noticed the same vertical line as well but haven't had time to look into it any further. Will report back if I find anything useful.

The screen element edges are anti-aliased, so a multiply-blend will have black lines. You'll need to do alpha blending like this: https://pastebin.com/68esbTAx
Use the same solution for Oil Panic white border extension btw.

and Dual View.png backplane color needs to be opaque black instead of transparent.

Updated Safebuster and thanks hap, I wouldn't have been able to figure that out. It looks neater without that line there now.

G&W Bomb Sweeper has now been dumped and preserved in MAME smile

This dual screen game is based on the SM512 in order to allow for the many segments used for drawing the maze on the bottom screen. This is what the game looks like:

Thanks hydef! The artwork looks, as always, really good and you have also improved the slightly misaligned print on one of the inlays. Nice!

Cheers Henrik and thanks Ryan for donating another game I've never played.

I'm going back through the multi screen games and adding Background Only views like the last 2 games. I'll notify when those are done.

I noticed a reddit thread about G&W input lag(?) https://www.reddit.com/r/MAME/comments/clshy2/game_watch_emulation_control_latency/ Thought I'd post it here for them
