Some cool games in that list! Hope they can all be dumped and emulated.

Do we have any of the other Romtec games dumped already (Frog Prince and Cosmic Invaders)?
Do we even know what chip they use? Anything similar to Colorvision?

Everything on that list should be dumpable and emulatable. Pretty sure they all use with the HD38800 or HD38820 chips.
Frog Prince is VFD, so it likely is also one of those chips, not sure if I still have one of those.
(Actually, just checked the source code- Frog Prince is known to be an HD38800, so just have to find one to dump...)

Cosmic Invaders is LED, sort of like the Entex Space Invader handheld, so not sure about the chip in that one, don't think I ever looked before I sold my collection...

yeah I'm as ready as I will ever be. btw the intv TV game thing has been emulated finally. It used the same mapper as one of the atari ones. It only took literally 15+ years, but it runs now. haha

yeah, MAME emulates that mapper (assuming you mean the same mapper as the Flashback Mini 7800), but we don't have the ROM, and I can't find the ROM anywhere to add it. Had we had the ROM it might have been emulated sooner than 15+ years ;-)

in other words, if you can make sure somebody on the MAME team / here has access to it, that would be handy, as it needs adding.

Oh nice, had no idea he had it. Do you know if he is able to dump it?
If not I can email him and see if he can forward it to kevtris which I'm guessing will be able to take care of it.

He's going to send it to Kevin, and I'm getting my games (with Pac-Man) in the mail this week, so hopefully we'll have SAG finished up soon!

Tronica Spider has now been preserved in MAME smile

The game is using the same MCU/ROM as Tronica Space Mission and even the PCB is the same.

There are (at least) two revisions of the game with different inlays. The first revision has a single inlay and the second one has two inlays and some more details.

This is a screenshot of the game:

Scans of the unit and inlays has been uploaded to dropbox.

Here is the artwork. The first version has two layers with the game sandwiched in between. The second is a single layer but has much more color and detail.

It can be found here in the Non-Nintendo folder:
