I have a M1 that I have been trying to use with MAME since 0.252. I have never been able to get any of my controllers to be recognized. When I press tab and go to the input settings, the only device it sees is my keyboard. I've been using a Naomi emulator (Flycast) that also uses SDL and has had no trouble with my fight sticks. I have tried multiple controllers, versions of MAME, and manually installing various versions of SDL with no luck. Am I just doing it wrong? If so, how can I do it right? (Using Sonoma 14.1.1)

I use a PS5 pad on my M3 Max MacBook Pro regularly. Make sure you run with -joystick or have "joystick 1" in your mame.ini.
