PC-6001 mkIi smile

Pretty cool finding!

Btw do you know if Wizardry 2 (knight of diamonds) for ms2 has been dumped? Just realized the other day it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

Fork MAME to your Github account, sync that fork to your local machine, make the changes and push them back to your fork on Github, and then use the Github web interface to open a pull request.

Didn't want to open a new thread just for this, but apparently some russian(?) 90's phones had a Z80 and a 9-digit 7-segment display, so you can put custom ROMs in and run Bad Apple on them, as presented on Revision 2024 this yesterday... You need to squint quite a lot though ;-)

(in case the timestamp link doesn't work, the interesting part starts at 16:45)

Edit: it placed 1st in the Wild competition

Most of these were 'Caller ID' phones, abusing an ANI feature of analog exchanges for fun and profit -- http://phrack.org/issues/69/2.html

Here, four parts describe the operation of the "Correlating signal receive" algorithm, its implementation on the i8080, Z80, PIC16 and x86 and its deep optimization. The video is in Russian, but you can enable translation of subtitles.

I've been going through my hoard of random CDs, and I found something that might be eligible for MAME.

[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

This is the BeOS Preview Release 1 CD, being read in SheepShaver (I don't have a Mac setup in MAME, sorry, too dumb.) It seems to have the same contents as the commonly available iso image at the archive; I ripped it using Redump compliant tools so it's a proper CHD-convertable bin+cue.

My question is, "where does this go into?" mac_cdrom.xml? This appears to only have binaries for PPC systems and the installation documents on the disc say it can be installed on Macs and BeBox systems.
