I have just purchased an x-arcade Solo and I can't get it to work with MacMame no matter what I try. I have searched the archives here and noted the issues with the current version so I have gone back to all versions to 0.66 and I still can't get it to work. In MODE 1 the buttons all work as mentioned in the manual but these don't map to MacMame, when I hit TAB whilst in MacMame to try and remap the keys it seems to hang or not recognise that I am pushing the keys.

I am using a dual 1.8Ghz G5 with Mac OS X 10.4.3.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Try holding the key down for two or three seconds, a quick press is not enough for the key to register.
