I only come to Amsterdam once in a while (a few times a year to visit clients, less than once a year to 'visit')... So I don't know many interesting spots apart from this shop which was at least fun to visit: http://www.platenkoning.com/games.html And I don't know about Amsterdam, but in the rest of The Netherlands, a real arcade is extremely seldom nowadays... You must have been the first tourist though who didn't ask about drugs first Arnoud

There is an arcade on Damrak, next to a hooter's type Dutch bar.. You can not miss it, if you are walking from Central Station towards the DAM (DAM Square) then you will see it on the right hand side. Damrak before reaching the square is only one long block. So, if you miss it, then you must be enjoying other Dutch treats.
Enjoy.

Gameover,
Nothing close or outside Amsterdam? That's a shame. MAME it is then.

I don't think that this is the place that I have seen, but even if it is the last few times I have been there it is all work and no fun, so.. Would be nice to know if there are games.. If not other coffee serving locations do have arcade games to help you pass the time while pondering higher existence..
