As time moved along, I moved along.

But I still remember my origins on the web: The Emmuversal Bulletin Boards and all the people who run this place and took part in some great madness from the past.

A few might remember me; I remember a lot of you. And I didn't forget this great board.

From time to time I still lurk a bit here. And since the Glob madness that currently is going on over there:

http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=380707

started right here with the Bitchkitty Score-Battle, I want to give a BIG thank you. cool

The Glob really helps me getting my name published and perhaps map some stuff for money for the Unreal Franchise sometime.

BTW:
Although I have to use a PC a lot, I still only use MacMAME.

See ya all soon...

Nice to see you from time to time Fuegerstef. Glad you could drop by! (I don't post as often as I used to either, or I would have replied sooner.)

Shoot, at eight hundred and thirty-something plus posts, you sure earned my gratitude! It's good to know that you still look in once in a while. You never really leave, you know that don't you!

I definitely lurk alot more than I used to. I'm more of a "silent bob" type. I don't say anything until it seems the right time.

Props to you on using the same screen name. I always love it when people keep the same name from board to board so I can recognize them.

Ahh, Stefan, I remember the Glob days with great fondness. What's your crazy German ass doing these days? wink I too am more of the lurking type now, but I always seem to find myself back here checking in. Making those house payments, car payments, fianc? payments... all seem to take up more and more of my free time. wink

On a side note, it looks like I've found a couple of guys that share my desire and are interested in creating a MAME arcade machine. We're going to make 3 of them all at the same time. Should be fun. I'll finally be able to play Super Glob in all its glory! smile

Did somebody mention Bitchkitty?

Hey, by the way, what ever happened to that super secret project that was supposed to have something to do with high scores or the old arcade atmosphere, etc.???

I too have moved along... I rarely post anymore, but I still love MacMAME and I try to check in once in a while. Good to see some of you still here.

It died. We never found someone to do the necessary website programming, and eventually lost interest in it.

I keep thinking about doing the programming on the super secret project. I still think it would be fun. I have my own business now, though, so I'm really busy.

Awww, heck, I gotta chime in here, too.

I still check this board on a daily basis, although I don't post nearly as often as I used to. When I do post, it's usually to either make some kind of snide comment or pimp CA Extreme :p .

We miss ya, fuegerstef.

I'm sure I'll always be until MacMAME is dead... or I am. wink

Nice to see I'm not the only Die Hard here.
Too bad I never have anything to say. laugh

Why sweat it? Sometimes just seeing a familiar name is worth the time it takes to pull up the site!

And no, you're not the only die-hard here! I already feel guilty as it is resorting to that other machine to play (Mac)MAME - if only for the sake of speed - as an aside, I can say without contradiction yet with an air of shameless bias that Brad's port of MacMAME is the best front-end for MAME. Putting aside raw processor speed, MacMAME has features and an ease-of-use that -to me- surpasses many of those I used on that other machine. But I digress (went and got myself started on a rant again...).

We here are all brothers in this little world. And this board is where we meet daily to relate and solve newbie and regular's problems - that kinda stuff.

I ain't goin' nowhere...

-Was that a double negative?

Gee... that's never seemed to stop me before. A large majority of my posts are fairly useless or OT, or both... but I'm still here. wink

And one can never forget King Bastard! HAR-HAR!!

Hey, I'm not around much anymore either, but I do stop in for a peek from time to time, I'm STILL running OS 9 so there's no more new macmame for me!

Anyway, yeah, we had a blast, lots a good people on this board. When the day comes that I finally get OS X I'm sure I'll be back!

Daring's and patmcfar8's struggle for the Glob-Hiscore is the origin of my "trademark".

Thank you folks... ...th GLob has reached a high status in the INA-Community (someone stole it, others are having their own Glob Avatars and some nice femal Clan-Player's Blobette and my Avatar are even gonna marry.)

Thank You, folks...

OH, BTW:

[shameless self pimpage]
For those that play UT2004. Google for "DM-FST-Sacrifice][" and "DM-FST-SpaceNoxx" wink
