Okay... Without asking where to get them (that would be bad), does anyone have a comprehensive list of the ROM sets / CHD Files that were added and/or changed between 0.77 and 0.87?

Give me 2 or 3 day and i post here, i need to complete the set 86 and 87

Some changes I've had to do:

Rally X
New Rally X
Super Qix
Lode Runner 3
Metal Slug

All these have had changes in their roms.

Has anyone tried the "Experimental Complete MAME ROMS Torrent" way of keeping updated?

Damned VPC7 Kernel Paniced 3 times in 4 hours before ClrMamePro was finished with my romset... I just love emulation :bemused:

And I have a feeling it won't be before tomorrow morning before MAMEzip 1.3 will be ready with rezipping my ROM collection... (3 hours now, 1850 of 5084 done)...

Anyone tried the torrent route?

Haven't tried that experimental complete torrent thing (saw it tho)... but I must say, BitTorrent, Poisoned, Newsgroups ( news.astraweb.com is nice!), VPC7 + ClrMAME Pro, and a certain website I just found last nite (which contains individual ROMs so you don't have to blindly search for whole sets and be dissapointed by a single missing ROM... need 7-Zip under VPC to open those .7z files tho) have gotten me 1 ROM and 4 CHDs away from a complete clean set... even completed my Daphne collection, which is F'in great! (what a convoluted sentence!). :what:

Anyway, I hope that's general enough not to break any board rules, but you still have to do a lot of "footwork", searching, trial and error. It can be fun tho... the "hunt" is half the enjoyment for me (and satisfies my OCD).
