Oh, than nZero for the files, at the moment I can only listen SUNTLD33.MPK this is a full psg song very nice.

For richard, implementing the drivers is quite easy...

Just add the following code in your kss section...

KSS_load_mgsdrv("/usr/lib/mgsdrv.com") ;
KSS_load_mpk106("/usr/lib/mpk.bin") ;
KSS_load_mpk103("/usr/lib/mpk103.bin") ;
KSS_load_kinrou("/usr/lib/kinrou5.drv") ;
KSS_load_opxdrv("/usr/lib/opx4kss.bin");
KSS_load_mbmdrv("/usr/lib/mbr143.001");

Nothing more

PS: I put my binaries in /usr/lib because I use to do the same on freebsd and linux.

I am still waiting to see example files in these formats. It's not quite as easy as what you say above because of the way Audio Overload works.

Ok, so never mind about thoses format.
It's true that those format are not very used actualy, since kss appeared.

Then, if you can add an option to switch song by 10 like...

<< | < | > | >>

Because it's really too boring to push 127 times to listen our favourites song.

:p

Valken

PS: I'll look to convert other sound format into .kss

I suspect the Windows version will support somewhat better jumping. The Mac version will in time. But it is unlikely to be updated again for a few weeks at least.

Yeah, the PC versions will have better jumping, although I need the engine to return actual min and max track numbers then instead of just "can increment" and "can decrement".

Yeah, I should have done that one at the time... on the to-do list.

I assume kss files are legal to distribute. If they are, could someone tell me where to get them, such as the 2 mentioned here? (Final Fantasy 1 and Runeworth)

Thanks.

After complaining, now greetings time :p

YEah, ao2 is very good on playing kss and there's nothing to say about sound quality.

For exemple, let's try listen Sd Snatcher Prelude 2, sd-snatcher.kss sound number 103

Prelude 1 is very good too, sound number 102.

Enjoy

The X68000's music format of choice appears to be MDX . Any chance of supporting it?
