Folks, Those following the other threads here will know that YM is now supported in the Audio Overload core. Anyone have any other chip tune formats (preferably with both documentation and sample files) that they'd like to see implemented? Important note - I am not interested in implementing PSF, PSF2, or USF. So please don't ask about these. MOD/other tracker formats fall beyond the range of what I want to achieve with Audio Overload. Thanks Richard

QSF would be easy to do, even though it's quite possibly the world's stupidest format (you're better off using M1 or Nebula Jukebox for those games =)

Although some should probably be pruned, my current main playlist has 1011 tracks in it. A game music track for every occasion.

There are just under 6,700 files on my iPod right now, though a fair number of those are chapters of audio books

Is .MDX support possible? Also, what about support for the remaining NSF sound chip variants?

MDX is high on my list of things I'd like to see supported, but the only source I've found is both hideous (ok, that's expected in AO at this point and GPL'ed. It's a simple enough format that we could probably "Chinese Wall" it - I could write a text description from the code and Richard would implement it, but we'll see.

I'll certainly implement it if someone points me to or writes documentation

...I should have said, as for the other NSF sound chips, I'm not sure; Audio Overload uses a NSF decoder by Fx3 (which has since been discontinued). At some point it'll be replaced, but honestly it's not a priority (it's not like many NSFs are affected).
