One of the nicest things about porting Nestopia, speaking with the I've ported far too many emulators to have any sanity left hat on is that Marty doesn't change the port API every release. The 1.2.4 code dropped straight into my Mac project half an hour ago with only a few minor compiler issues. I'm going to do a release in a few moments. Additionally, the core code is very clean (the Mac port is only about 300 lines of bridge to my shell).

You could probably do it in an evening, RB -- and yes, that is a challenge smile

This is definitely my favorite NES emulator of them all.

I'm glad to see it's being worked on regularly again.

Keep up the good work, Marty!!!

It beats the pants off RockNES any day of the week. And I used to be a huge supporter of RockNES.

I really love the feature set in particular. The save state setup is just perfect.

So now that I've completely blown the challenge, did you try this in Xcode yet Richard? smile GCC 3.4.4 (for x86 targets) blatently miscompiles it even at -O0. I haven't tried 4.x yet.

Not yet. I need to get my shell code working in Xcode before I tackle the emulators that use it.
