Triple buffering is normally how you'd solve tearing without resorting to locking to vsync, but I don't think it's possible in OpenGL (heck, I'm not sure it's possible in D3D either).

Slight problem there, i'm heading down to see Pinx for much the same reason at the weekend (drink that is, not programming!) - am doing a Star Wars event in Newquay Fri. night (sort of paid) so figured i'd go play arcade stuff on the Saturday whilst down there laugh

Didn't know DZ! was a Mac programmer (or did i miss sarcasm?!)

Oh well, getting OT! Will plod along with online guides for now.
