Just two tiny issues have come up. 1) My usb joypad doesn't seem to work.. do I have to do somethig special? 2) "bass" seems to crash mame. It doesn't seem to work on the pc either, but at least doesn't cause a crash. If you have trouble duplicating either of these problems, I'll look more carefully at what seems to be causing them.

"bass" is not working - beyond that I'm usually not interested in how it isn't working since it's typically not a port's fault even if the symptoms are port-specific.
