BTW, I've posted a revised m1.xml file at my blog that has all the updates people have sent in and/or that I've done, including hsf2. You're still missing the System 12 games I've posted (Ghost Hunt, Paca Paca Passion Special and Point Blank 2).

You missed some of the changes I have submited. Namely the pl1-mcu.bin being replaced by the new cus60-60a1.mcu in some 80's namco games, unless I was wrong...

The Speed Rumbler/Rush & Crash still doesn't work, though (on my Mac PPC). Still says "ROMs not found". Not sure what the problem is here. I could be wrong, but... maybe you don't have the ROMs you need? Just a thought.

I double-checked both Speed Rumbler and Rush & Crash and they are both correct as of MAME 0.111u6.

mfm: your xml was not based on anything recent so I had to reconstruct the changes by hand. Things go missing when that happens. Also, you clearly did not test all of your changes - your changes would crash Viper Phase 1 and one of the IREM games.
Knurek: I added your Paca Paca 2 that you posted. If you posted other sets I did not see them.
ALL: preferred format for xml fixes is a context diff (diff -u) against the file I most recently posted, and link to it. Do not inline it in the board.

You did add the Winning Run sets tho. Last post in the u1 thread. I'll put out diffs from now.

Sorry it was based on the m1.xml from u2 but I may have edited it in a bad fashion. I have done modifications where it was the most obvious (that's why I left drgngun and cybrcomm), guess I was wrong.

I should clarify: if you're just fixing a year or something really trivial, just posting inline is OK. But inline posts with multiple game changes will probably result in my spazzing and missing some, like I did to poor Knurek ;-)
ETA: for cybrcomm, M1 was right, MAME was broken (it crashes on startup on MAME because MAME was missing c74.bin).

I double-checked both Speed Rumbler and Rush & Crash and they are both correct as of MAME 0.111u6. Well now I'm -really- confused. I have the latest MAME OS X (0.111-1) and those two games load and run fine, and they show up in the M1 menu, but for some reason when I click on either, they say "no ROMs found" for Speed Rumbler and "unable to load ROM rc05.2f" for Rush & Crash. Baffled.

System GX games leave a file named "gx.bin".
