Yeah. Actually what would be nice is to steal from MAME's playbook and put up a dev wiki where each system could have a page discussing (and showing) what it can and can't do and so on.

Ben Bruscella has talked about setting up a Drupal environment for this sort of thing. IMHO this is actually more important for MESS than it is for MAME. In computer emulation, often the users are people with in depth knowledge of that specific system and want to know which video modes are implemented and so on. This stands in contrast with arcade and console emulation, where (in general) most people only care about whether their favorite game runs or not.

Agreed. For MAME we mostly list what doesn't work, while for MESS listing what does is probably more interesting.

We have setup a dev wiki some days ago. See this pages for examples:

I'm open to suggestions or improvements.

Screenshots are now handled through MESS' new wiki page.

The homepage screenshots link should point there then. And is there going to be some SVN equivalent of the WIP page? I used it frequently to tell when I wanted to pull new code smile

I guess Raz should have several as he has checksums for the games in unibios.
And maybe we can pull some out of the Nintendo Virtual Console as they will start selling Neogeo games soon.

Seeing as Nintendo has had no compunction about modifying the games that are put on Virtual Console (see: lack of cheats in Kid Icarus, lack of Ghost mode in Mario Kart 64), that would be a bad idea.
