Gucek - if you are cool with it see if you can get Chris to get your page linked on the Mess.org link page. Chris is doing some nice mess.org cleanups recently and your pictures are nice addition. Thanks for them.

Is HazeMD obsolete then? In other words will Haze be submitting to MESS if there are improvements in the future? My monk like policy of MESS, MAME or nothing can test the old patience sometimes...

nah, HazeMD is Haze's little playground and he will probably add to it neogeocd and megacd

moreover he already stated various times that

a. he wants an emulator with a fix gamelist to make easier spotting bugs. HazeMD accomplish this, MESS does not

b. he has no interest in MESS, so someone else has to port back the code (in this case arbee)

in my opinion there is space for both (at least in my HD laugh )

Hello,
Not sure if this is a bug, but today I got svn rev. 266 and compiled. I tested the genesis system. The problem is that the start button event insists to map to the third joy-button. I mapped the "1 P start" and "P 1 start" in in-emulator menu to a specific button of my gamepad, but it does not work. The mapped pad button does nothing, whereas the third pad button works as "start".

very stupid question: do you mean that you can pause some games by pressing C in place of start (very strange issue and probably a bug in the configuration of inputs) or that some games will start when you press C in place of start (some games worked this way on the real hardware, this would not be a bug)?

I only tested with Raiden Trad US. I'll give it a more thorough try today. But I can tell you in this game, start didn't function; neither as pause or start.

svn Revision 269:
genesis video output is broken. No video output, blank screen. Sounds can be heard. Other systems work fine. Both opengl and yuy2 are the same.

I wish I could see what rev. 269 *is*, but I'll bet it's the u1 update since ssf2ghw (the arcade SSF2 bootleg on Genesis h/w) also has no graphics in u1.
