It seems there is some error when MacSDLMESS trys to inspect the SDLMAME you choose. I'll modify MacSDLMESS to be more verbose if something bad happens during the import of SDLMAME/SDLMESS data.

I've installed MacSDLMESS and SDLMESS G4 binary. I've also compiled SDLMAME for my G4.

I start MacSDLMESS. What do I do now? I only have MAME compatible roms.

First, find MESS compatible ROMs and software. Or preferably dump your own.

I thought MacSDLMESS would work with MAME and MAME compatible roms.

You're posting in the MESS forum, so I though you were referring to MESS. I guess I was wrong.

MacSDLMESS does work with SDLMAME. Read the included ReadMe. Then ask specific questions about it. It'll really help me improve the documentation.

It's now working with MAME. Now come the questions:

- how can I display the screenshot while selecting a game?
- how can I define global options to all games?
- how can I make MacSDLMESS display only the available games?

Edit: fixed a typo.

Currently unimplemented. I am open to suggestions on how I should go about implementing this feature.

When ever the "Use INI" check box is checked, you are setting the global settings.

Create a smart group that only contains drivers that pass the Nano Audit test. This is currently extremely slow. frown Expect your G4 to act hung for a few minutes.
