http://www.geocities.com/discord_snap/downloads/dat2hsi.zip i have finally finished writing my new dat2hsi. it grabs crc, md5, sha1, year, manufacturer info and flags up bad dumps so if anyone wants to make some hsi files for systems its just a matter of taking a clrmamepro datfile of a good/tosec set or of your own set to make a hsi file for a system or update any that have fallen behind. if anyones interested the source and a compiled version are available above. to compile i just copied all entries for dat2html in makefile.mes and mess.mak and renamed the copy entries to dat2hsi.
it grabs size info as well but thats not supported in the hsi yet
