The music in macross2 works fine on M1 but on MAME it sounds incomplete and it cuts off sometimes. Am I missing something or should MAME be using M1 sound driver for this game?

It used to be ok in MAME, it's probably a regression.

Actually, macross2's sound has been messed up in MAME for a long time (macross2079u1gre)...

MAME run some games with difference in the sound.
comparing cps3 sound with mame and cps3 emulator notices something of different.
has a subject that is difficult to appear somebody to test what say. mame sound filter has problems in namcos86.c. Here I don't know if i can post the wavs on that to save work for you in run namcos86.c in mame 0,92 with comparison in the current version.
It is serious. has a problem. The only person that agreed with that was Haze because i sent the wavs through hotmail and him listened the difference in the quality.

i entered in mame.net forum saying about the problem in namcos86.c with samplerate very low. posts saying for i stop with this was done. i had what insist with this, but unhappily my username became blocked for the work of the some masters what wrote for santeri make this sentence. About internet forums i never saw something similar equal to the mistake of mame.net.
I don't like to create war. I like to see justice that the times seem that I want to create war is not ?
