My Linux port doesn't have that functionality. The newer "Nestopia Undead" port might, I don't know for sure.

The Windows version still has the feature. I wish emulator authors were more open to adding/maintaining features like this cause its nice to be able to record your gameplay to something that can be viewed on a media player or DVD. I like to record my final boss battles and endings for the games I complete. That being said, how bout a shout out for HLSL added to Nestopia smile

NST doesn't need HLSL, it has Blargg's NTSC filter, which renders the games very precisely as I remember them smile

I'm using Nestopia 1.40

On certain games, I try to record a video (.nsv file) so I can convert it to .avi for uploadage to youtube.

However, on some games that I try this on, the video is not what I did in the game, (Castlevania III Super Mario 2 for example) and on some occasions the file is corrupt. This works the way I want on most games, but on a few games I've run into the problem.

Can someone enlighten me on what I'm doing wrong?
