I'm having an odd problem, succesfully recorded an extended play session(about 3 hrs) as NSV and wanted to convert the whole thing to AVI to edit properly together. However, the whole thing never seems to be able to convert in one go, and will only return an AVI of say 40 minutes. Changing the Codec used and the bitrate result in longer conversions (and worse video quality) but all the files seem to top out at 1GB, and contain no further data past that. Is this simply because thats the amount of Ram I have in the system I'm using or is there another reason? If so and it cant be avoided, is there any way to convert the footage from beyond the first 40 minutes to AVI? Would I need a different Codec or is there, for instance, some setting in the program that will break the files into half-hour chunks for instance?
