I almost spit my tea out when Hikaru-chan or Akane-chan (whichever one it was) was bouncing around on the rocket, there's only so much innuendo I can take before I break >.<

Yes, it needs the PCM samples from Nastar, else it sounds nasty (wonder why MAME doesn't load them?).

dariusg has track numbers fixed for the new core. Don't be alarmed by the lack of vocals in Visionnerz, the song has an intro now, so they kick in at about the 0:50 mark.

I'm pretty amazed something as experimental as Visionnerz (listen to the whole track, weird stuff starts to happen roughly 3 minutes in) was done for an arcade game.

Umm, this is from Hoot 2CH thread. But it might require some driver modification, as the last sample rom is loaded in strange order in MAME.
Unless someone here can tell me how to do something like this:
Code:
ROM_LOAD16_BYTE( "c99-07.ic2",  0x680000, 0x040000, CRC(4cc3136f) SHA1(d9d7556bbe6af161fa0651b1fbd72e7dbf0a8e82) )
ROM_CONTINUE( 0x600000, 0x040000 )
ROM_CONTINUE( 0x780000, 0x040000 )
ROM_CONTINUE( 0x700000, 0x040000 )

with M1 xml defs.

Code:
	<game name="galastrm" board="F3/Super Z/JC Systems">
		<description>Galactic Storm (last sample rom loaded incorrectly!)</description>
		<year>1992</year>
		<manufacturer>Taito Corporation Japan</manufacturer>
		<m1data default="1" stop="0" min="1" max="255"/>
		<region type="cpu1" size="1048576">

Also, a small fix for waverunr:
change
Code:
		<m1data default="1" stop="255" min="1" max="32768"/>

to
Code:
		<m1data default="0" stop="255" min="0" max="32768"/>
