From the roms posted at eevblog.

It has two 640 char lcd controllers for each half of the panel. The font rom and 8276 crtc are for the external crt support.

Finally fixed the last(?) bug in the Hazeltine 1500 netlist code. It wasn't actually a bug in the netlist code that was hanging me up, I had the Am2847 Quad 80-bit Shift Register implemented with 160 bits instead. No wonder it looked like the lines were taking twice as long to clock out.

More importantly, this means the netlist system is now capable of accessing ROMs loaded by MAME, and between that and the devices I've added, there are only 10 or 11 (depending on how you count) logic ICs standing between now and being able to netlist Stunt Cycle. smile

Some Acorn Archimedes snaps, after working floppy emulation:

Some stuff doesn't boot at all, and timings are a bit screwy. I also suspect palette raster is used for the last snap (Twinworld)
Other than that is a great achievement wink

So cool!

Great to see progress on Acorn machines!

ibm6580.cpp (IBM Displaywriter) WIP. Thanks to nigwil@vcfed for redumping the ROM.

Character generator ROM is not dumped (and it's in EBCDIC), I've used a generic PC font + translation table. Actual font looks like this:

I'll see what I can do wrt dumping all the roms and the microcontroller. Not having the floppy one is probably a showstopper, I'm guessing the protocol isn't obvious. Are you going to add the blinky diagnostic leds? Can you push what you have so far so I can compare the dump with what I end up doing?
