Awesome work !

Currently having fun messing around installing IRIX 5.3 (in 0.207)

yet in 0.210, at the beginning of the installation process (after the Copying Installation tools to disk progress bar), the screen is split and only the upper half is drawn, does anyone have the same issue ? I haven't tried 0.209 or 0.208 yet though

0.207 is literally hundreds of video emulation fixes behind current. Ryan's put in a LOT of work on that thing smile

yeah that's what I though, but is the issue I'm getting with 0.210 normal ?

I really should get my dev station up and running again so I can build the bleeding edge version

But for the time being, I rolled back to 0.209 and no split display with this one :-)

After some major work to the Qume QVT-102 driver you can now actually use it as a terminal:

Linux still has some basic support for it, but it's not very usable since reverse video isn't displayed and you can't see your selections (and no line drawing support, even though the QVT-102 does have drawing characters).

No real driver improvements, but rendering VRAM to screen for the AT&T 630 MTG driver gives us this:

The Open University Hektor machines are quite rare and very little information is known. Fortunately found someone with a Hektor III at the vcfed forums, and provided ROMs.

The Hektor 2 and 3 are similar so the user manual from http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/det/43078/Open-University-Hektor-III/ was invaluable, though I don't yet have the ROMs for the 2 I intend to dump them during my next Cambridge visit. The 3 at the museum is actually a 2 in a 3 case.

There are some in-built tests that were very useful for testing:
t - perform system tests
a1 - audio test (plays The Entertainer)
a3 - graphic test

The example emulated also had a couple of extra software ROMs, these are run with ay and az.
