With hp82900 module (see PR #6388) the HP86 turned into Yet Another CP/M Machine... (here playing Zork1)

At this rate we could rebrand as MCME: Multiple CP/M Machine Emulator. And nice work as always, fulivi!

I have my HP BASIC Language Processor cards pulled out to dump. They are 68000 or 68030 boards that emulate a 9000/200 on an ISA card so you can run
HP BASIC or PASCAL in a PC.

That's... kind of weird. Is the software included?

I'm curious as to when these are dated, early 90's?. By the late 90's I was porting HP BASIC software from the HP9000/715 to HP BASIC for Windows on NT4, the software originated from the HP9845 era.

BBC Model B, ATPL Sidewise, Acorn Speech, 2xWatford Floppy Drives, AMX Mouse, Viglen case, etc.

The 68000 version came out in 1987, the 030 around 1990. The software is on the hp museum site. The last version seems to be 1991
It was on the hp website still in the '00s. I am trying to find my copy of that, and am postprocessing the scans I have of the manuals today.

The firmware on the 00 version is pretty obvious, not so much on the 030

The market for these boards was running Rocky Mountain BASIC on Vectras to replace 9000's.
I think they finally got something ported that had all of the BASIC instrumentation extensions added to it.

Colors might be correct or not, no reference picture exists.
