The one track I've tried (don't recall now which, 8~10 range), had the sequence data reference both bank 0 and 1.

Oh yeah. Now that you mention it, I did notice the sequences contained tone and mixer (!) change commands. This game will be fun fun fun :-)

"Typing of the Date"? Wow. I had to Google that one to make sure Knurek wasn't pulling a fast one :-) I bet Sega would've sued if it had been a PS2 game smile

Meh. Try "Hang The DJ" for size. And no, it's not a survival horror.

Some new rips:

Saturn:
Digital Angel - Dennou Tenshi Spiral Story (1997)(Koga Game Factory)(Tokuma Shoten)
Terra Phantastica (1996)(Chime)(Sega)

Dreamcast:
Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku 3 - Perpetual Blue (1999)(Starlight Marry)(Media Works)

10 Liquid Sounds of Morning Dew.dsf of the above has a little problem in the beginning. Sounds like the song is trying to play a nonbanked sample (resulting in chip sounds at start). No dsfinfo.py so I can't easily check what's wrong, PSF rip doesn't have this problem.

New Saturn rips:

Fire Pro Gaiden - Blazing Tornado (1995)(Human)
Idol Mahjong Final Romance 4 (1998)(Video System)
Mahjong Ganryuujima (1995)(Cosmos Computer)(ASCII)
SD Gundam G-Century S (1998)(Japan Art Media)(Bandai)

SD Gundam is purely streamed, rest of them uses at least some sequences.
Not sure what's the deal with Mahjong Ganryuujima, both tone banks have all EFSDL values set to zero. And there's a third tone bank in the map file, but only two found on disc (well, there's a third one in SDDRVS.TSK, don't think that one counts). Maybe the game uses DSP only for the SFX? Pretty crappy music either way. laugh

Some nice stuff there (e.g. "Burning Chase" is pretty interesting).

kingshriek, the tracks still pop at beginning, even when using the latest ssfmake.py. Another bug in DSP RAM zeroing or something non related?
