No, but they use newer version of the driver (which seems to have gotten rid of all the playback problems so far) and they use the new, savestate less format, so they should run on the real hardware (didn't actually check, but they work fine in NDS emulators).

Oh, they're self-booting? That's a major improvement.

Here's how it works:

1. Depack the 2sflib into bin file - Neill's psf2exe won't work, but VGMToolbox (http://sourceforge.net/projects/vgmtoolbox/) handles it fine (Misc. Tools -> xSF Tools -> xSF2EXE).

2. Strip first 8 bytes of the bin file (4 bytes for load adress, 4 bytes for section size), rename to NDS.

3. It should default to song select 0x00 for most sets, if you want something else to play, change the two bytes at offset 0x0d0fc0 in the NDS file (of course, nongeneric drivers have the song select at different offset. Depacking mini2sf and checking the loading address should help). Valid values you can take either from a SMAP file (again, VGMToolbox can both extract the SDAT from the NDS file and generate SMAP from that) or by depacking the mini2sf files

Cool. I just found my DSTT again so I'll have to try self-booting some rips. Has anyone verified they do run on hardware?

Yes. Supposedly, there's less hiss than the vio2sf outputs (though I think that may be just general winamp crappyness, haven't noticed much problems when using XMPlay, crappy samples excluded).

Works on my R4 too, so your cart should work as well. Best part? It doesn't support hinge, so you can close the lid, and music keeps going.

New DSF set (and a bunch of streamed packs, I'm not gonna list here):

Hanagumi Taisen Columns 2 (2000)(Overworks)(Sega)

http://dsf.hcs64.com/

I just hope I didn't botch sampleset to sequence matching.

New DSF set (and again, some streams):

Kidou Senkan Nadesico - Nadesico the Mission (1999)(Will)(Kadokawa Shoten)

http://dsf.hcs64.com/

RB, the set has some problematic tracks...
BGM20.dsf does click a lot in the beginning under AODSF, no problems with Deunan's player.
BGM03.dsf sounds like some samples are played a few BPM faster than they should be (the percussion loop doesn't really much the music all that well). Again, no problems with Deunan's player.

Which is strange because it's all supposed to be timer-based. So one would expect it work or not but it's a situation where most instruments sound OK, except percussion.
