I've noticed something. There's quite a sound difference between MAME and M1. For example, in MAME32 there's an option to turn on audio resampling, but in M1 it's always on. If I leave it turned off in MAME32 the sound is much better and less distorted, but if I turn it on it sounds just like M1. Is there a way to turn it off in M1?

The "resampling" option in MAME is misnamed. It's actually oversampling, and it produces more accurate sound (especially for PSG and FM chips) at high pitches.
