Other discovered tunes I forgot to mention:

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs - epec 'Trap in the Silence'

R-type leo - tho the timing of the GA20 is off (at least with my M1), the FM is sweet with pads only the 2151 can chuck out.

Speaking of GA20, thanks to Stefan for pointing out (elsewhere) that Undercover Cops (Japan version) has much "more complete" versions of the songs, with a lot more samples. I'll include both versions in the next M1, but side-by-side the differences are pretty amazing.

FYI: YM3931 is not a sound chip, and in fact not even a Yamaha chip. It's a gate array for the Seibu Sound System - it performs their bizzare Z80 IRQ handling, does the Z80 address decoding, and interfaces to the main CPU. I updated the notes at the top of sndhrdw/seibu.c a year or two ago to reflect this knowledge, but it's still a common mistake smile

i was'nt sure about the YM3931 myself since i found no info about it... never thought about to look in the Mame drivers, i'll remove it next time i update the photo page.
