Every time I pull out the ZiNc source and start improving it I see utter bollocks like this.

urgh!

The translation is wicked: "these games are set to standard renders Mum".

Not what you want to hear but..a shiny new ZiNc release = problem solved, no more horrormame builds..

Yeah, old news. When I tried it when it came out it was slower than both MAME and ZiNc themselves on my machine. I think I'll stay with arcade quality graphics at ~40fps than 'enhanced' graphics at 20fps!

On a side note, I dragged out the old ZiNc again to see if it still ran, ZN-based games and Tekken 3 work fine but for some reason System 11 games do nothing but crash on load without even showing the window or going into full screen. Maybe RB jinxed me over my blind post in the MW programming forum! wink

I'm unsure if you can ever hope to stop people from making "illegal" builds of MAME. I seriously doubt they care if Zinc is ever updated, so it's no sweat off their brow. frown
