No, add range-tile over and Mario should show up.

Fixed a blending bug caused by imperfect half colour behaviour in Soul Blazer. The half math now shouldn't take the back colour into account:

@Arbee: there's already a system like that in MAME, it's the Neo-Geo -bios 9 (aka the "Custom Japanese Hotel"). In my humble opinion that's eligible like the Playchoice-10 or the MegaTech.

About the half-color bit. I forget whether it does the divide by two before or after adding the colors, but I did test that on hardware and verified that whatever I'm doing now is correct.

Games tested in 5492:

Toy story: Regression. The title screen is showed as a blank screen

Super Mario Kart: Black Title screen:

The attract persist:

Megaman X3: Ratter to begin the game, that shows this screen:

Mega Man X2 and X3 use the CX4 coprocessor. Support will probably not be added for the forseeable future (though, looking at bsnes's source, I see no reason why it couldn't be).

I poked a MAMEdev (who wishes to remain anonymous) on IRC before I went to bed last night, and this morning I woke up to see basic CX4 support checked into the MAME source tree. After rolling it into MESS, both Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 boot right up and are almost fully playable. The only issue I've seen is that in scenes that should have wireframe graphics provided by the CX4, the OAM data that gets displayed is just garbage:

This could mean that the SuperFX can be supported soon?

New bug related to Super Drift Out:

Translated in words: the game doesn't init the battery backed ram, meaning that the records can't be beated...maybe it wants a fill $ff?

In 5493:

We can see problems in most of the games that use the DSP-1:

Armored trooper votons: some graphics problems...
Bike Daisuki! - Rider's Spirits: the try to enter in the game causes a reset...
Final Stretch: Weird graphics...
Michael Andretti's Indy Car Challenge: strange "pitch" in the road...
Pilotwings: "gravity" problems...
Suzuka 8 Hours: Only begin to show graphics in the game. Pre screens (such title) only shows blank
Super 3D Baseball: don't initiate the game here...
Super F1 Circus Gaiden: flag is wrong
Super MArio KArt: the problem was related before...
