I'm a newbie to Modeler but have used many emulators in the past. My question is this...

I can't use Modeler's default button keys because of the way my custom control panel is laid out. I have a 7 button layout (similar to a SlikStik.) The top row is 7/H/9; which modeler uses (LCTRL/LALT/SPACE). The second row is LSHFT/0/Z/X; which Modeler uses (Z/X/C).

It doesn't appear that Modeler supports keyboard remapping. I've tried PC Mags' TradeKeys 2.0, Key Tweak 2.1.1, and other remappers under WinXP Home SP2 as a workaround. The keys remap fine after logging out or rebooting (proven with a quick NotePad test). However, when I try to use the keys that are remapped in Modeler, it only recognizes the original keystrokes, not the remapped keystrokes.

Like I said, I've verified the remapping was successful in NotePad. Has anyone else run into this and resolved the issue? ...or is there a way to remap the default Modeler keys? I've searched high and low on the web and in newsgroups and can't seem to find the answer. Thanks for any help!

Modeler is not remappable, and MAME now is a much better choice for System 32 and Model 1 games anyway.
