It's been a long time, but I've gathered many informations.
The V2.0V TI-81 ROM dump is ok.
The TI-81 motherboard was completly changed between 1.8K and V2.0V versions.
TI-81 with ROM V2.0V are using a motherboard which is based on the first TI-82.
Just have a look:
From left to right, there are:
- a TI-81 (1992) with ROM 1.8K
- a TI-81 (1994) with ROM V2.0V
- a TI-81 (1996) with ROM V2.0V
- a TI-82 (1994) with ROM 16.0
So, maybe the V2.0V TI-81 ROM dump could work with the TI-82 driver and some minor changes...
I'm currently dumping the TI-81 1.6K.
This time, the motherboard is similar.
So it may work.
I'll tell you as soon as I've got a correct 1.6K ROM file.
Thanks for helping me, and thanks for the screenshots.Edit:
I've just tried my TI-81 V2.0V ROM dump on a TI-82 emulator (TilEm).
It may depend on the emulator, but you just have to make your TI-81 V2.0V ROM look like a TI-82 ROM.
My trick was to concatenate 4 copies of the TI-81 V2.0V ROM.
So the size is correct (4x32=128Kb).
Depending on the emulator, it may read some informations with an offset from the beginning of the ROM file, and other informations (like the checksum) with an offset from the end of the ROM file. That's why I'm concatenating severall ROMs. In both cases, the information is present and readable.
