will the next M1 match MAMEs ROMs? It's been a long time since I could play Sega Touring Car Championship music in M1, I have to use Nebula M2 original version!

Huh? STCC should work fine in both. The ROMs didn't change, and M1 does load-by-CRC.

I hope this question isn't too dumb. :duh:
With all these Sega games being decrypted and added to Mame; would this allow more games not previously supported by M1 to now be playable in M1?

Or however that works. Or is that ...different? :shiver:

A lot of the encrypted games already were supported in M1 - the sound system wasn't encrypted, just the main game.

Aye, the only ones that are not in M1 are either undumped (handful of these) or inexplicably dont work (super monaco gp)

Running the stcc.zip in MAME 0.88 through M1 0.7.4b using BridgeM1 v0.5.2a tells me that the stcc.zip romset (which audits fine in MAME/ClrMamePro) is missing:

sega-tc.u32
sega-tc.u34

The MAME 0.88 ROMs doesn't have these! Are these only supported in M1?

Probably the MAME set is not complete. I'll fix it for u1.

EDIT: actually, the MAME set is correct - those ROMs were later redumped at the proper size for ElSemi.

Something's wrong with wjammers too (in Bridge-M1). The old set I had -when played in Mame- I'd get a warning message saying a couple of things were the wrong size ("game may not play correctly..."). And that may have been the case, but it would play fine in Bridge. Now my new zip file doesn't get an error message in MAME but Bridge-M1 tells me a file is missing. :bemused:
