M+GUI currently supports the following MAME builds: MAME, MESS, SDLMAME, SDLMESS, MAMEPlus

1.5.0
  • added support to select games with joystick
  • auto center game selection cursor
  • added Spanish translation [MiNoviaMuerta]
  • fixed MESS bios selection [Xander]
  • fixed min/max values of beam and flicker options
  • load 7z/zip archives with less strict matching criteria, so that .png files in a subfolder should work
  • optimized command.dat parsing
  • show rom info in MAMEInfo widget
  • Linux: link against static libpng12
  • Mac: start game with Return/Enter

Yes! No more pressing enter in vain, out of habit from over a decade of Mame32/UI use. Thanks for listening.

Overall, an impressive release!

A couple of minor things, though... Nit-Picking, as it were...

- The Command-Line Option still seems to be broken for me (it doesn't like folder names with spaces)

- The 'Quit' option appears to be missing from the Application menu (I can still quit via the dock...)

As it's a Mac program there should be a quit option. It's Mac and not Windows...
